Strength and conditioning for runners, cyclists and triathletes. Sessions are focussed on building performance, preventing injuries and reducing the impacts of aging (aka all the stuff we know that we should work on, but so often don’t!)

As well as building strength and power, we’ll be working on mobility, stability and balance.

Suitable for all levels, including those completely new to S&C or with history of injuries. There will always be options to make the exercises easier or harder depending on the individual.

Especially suitable for women as sessions will include training recommended to combat the impacts of the decline of oestrogen through menopause.

More on the importance of S&C for endurance athletes here - https://www.feelfitwithlucy.co.uk/post/what-are-the-benefits-of-strength-and-conditioning-for-endurance-athletes

Notes:

- Sessions are provided by York Tri coach Lucy Hurn, not York Tri, and York Tri bears no responsibility or liability for the sessions.

- The sessions are shared between a few select York clubs (Haxby Runners, York Rouleurs, York Tri) and you must be a member (or trial member) of one of these clubs to take part.

- You must sign up and complete the PARQ to take part (note the booking and waiting list policy is different to York Tri''s policy)
